Faire de camping.

To Camp. The family is going camping tomorrow. We are going to spend Memorial weekend out camping in the woods! I am really looking forward to it. I love camping. We are taking two tents, and a ton of other supplies. It should be a wonderful weekend...even Socrates (my Bassett Hound for those of you that don't know that) is going. Our only concern is the possibility of thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon. The weather for the rest of the weekend looks great. I pray that we have a safe and fun weekend and that we all get along well. I pray that you have a safe and fun Memorial weekend too! I'll be sure and write all about it when we return on Monday afternoon.

Have a great time camping. Mom says that she hopes a bear doesn't eat you. (She's read an article about bears or something.) I echo the sentiment, although I'm quite sure the issue won't come up, lol.

I hope your head is feeling better. Did you ever see that Peanuts cartoon about Charlie Brown getting hit on the head with a baseball, and then every circular thing he saw looked like a baseball to him? Is that happening with you? Soon his head even looked like a baseball, with the stitching along the back of his head. He had to go to summer camp wearing a sack on his head, but it wasn't so bad. He became the most popular kid at camp, living under the pseudonym "Mr. Sack."

I still miss you like crazy, Knothead ;-) I'll call you next week.

I had a wonderful time camping. The weekend went off nearly incident free...I'll post more about that tomorrow and tell ya on the phone next time we chat. We actually did ask the Ranger if we should worry about bears. He said that he'd heard of some problems at other areas in the State but they'd had no problems in the campground and it was very unlikely they would since it's such a noisy place. Tell your Mom thanks for thinking of us though!

My head is feeling much better, although it it still a little tender to the touch. I didn't have any "Charlie Brown" experiences. :-)

I miss you like crazy too. I think your short visit just made it worse, ;-) I recently acquired a CD that I know we would really enjoy singing along with as we cruised Gainesville trying to decide where to eat!

I look forward to your call!
